Mission and Vision
It is easy for businesses to get so focused on the work that the client gets lost in the process. FCS strongly feels that the client should always come first. FCS seeks to assist people and small businesses with their information technology and project management needs.
History
Since 1993 Ford Computing Services has been providing IT and Project Management services to residential and small business customers. FCS was founded in March 1993. At that time it focused on assisting residential clients with installing new personal computers. As time progressed, this became easier for people to do on their own. Computers started shipping mostly assembled and most of the wires are now color coded. Using the same organizational skills native to the Information Science and Technology professions, FCS began assisting groups and its first commercial clients with organizing small to medium events, organizing their inventories, and expanded into web services. Always evaluating what clients need, FCS expanded next into diagnostic reporting, system updates, and anti-viral installations for its residential clients. Now with the need for a framework around projects for businesses, FCS has added Project Management to the skill sets it can deliver to clients. Project Management is a profession that puts a framework around projects that helps to bring them to a successful conclusion. In fiscally challenging times, this becomes extremely important.

FCS primarily serves Fulton, Montgomery, Schenectady, and Albany Counties in New York State, U.S.A.. FCS serves other areas on a case-by-case basis. Some services may be offered regardless of location.

FCS is located in Fulton County, New York State, United States of America. Fulton County is on the southern edge of the scenic Adirondack Mountain range and features the Great Sacandaga Lake.
Hours of Operation
FCS hours are by appointment only. General Email will usually receive a response within 2 business days. Technical Support Email will usually receive a response within 1 business day.
Available Languages
Services are provided in English (American) at this time. If another verbal language (like Spanish, Tagalog, Russian, Polish, etc.) or somatic language (like American Sign Language) is required, then please contact FCS to make arrangements. FCS will try to work with family, friends, or a professional translator provided by you. If none is available, we will work with you to identify possible professional services in your area providing that function.

Better Business Bureau (BBB)
On March 24, 2010, FCS was accredited by the Better Business Bureau with a Rating of A+. On April 26, 2010, FCS was accredited as meeting BBBOnLine standards. This allowed FCS to display the Better Business Bureau seal on its websites and online venues. As of late 2011, FCS decided to discontinue seeking accreditation from the BBB and no longer displays its seal. A BBB report on FCS is still available on their website.
